The Columbia All-Stars beat the Blaney Baseball outfit Saturday afternoon in a pitchers’ duel, 2 to 0.
Wages for the home team struck out 25 men and aided his own victory with his stick one of his blows being a home run. McFarland also hit for the circuit. Wages got four hits in Four trips to the plate.
Peck gave up seven hits and struck out 20 of the victorious players. For of the All-Stars hit two base licks in four trips to the pan.
