BOARD ELECTS TEACHERS FOR SCHOOL AT BLANEY

Blaney, April 26, – The board of education for the Blaney school met last week and all the present force of teacher were reelected for another year. The school has made wonderful progress this year and many plans for its improvement are being made now for a better school for next year. Additional teachers will be added in the high and grammar schools and a science department will be added to the high school. A new library will also be added this summer. The people will vote on a bond issue for six new class rooms, May 6.

Mr. Andrea, the superintendent, announces the teachers for the next term as follows; High School, Miss Eulalie Sheely, Ballentine; Miss Arabel Kennedy, Lugoff; Miss Elizabeth Senn, Larurens, Grammar School teacher are: Miss Maude Derrick, Leesville; Miss Fay Bridges, Cowpens; Miss Connie Andrea, Taylors; Miss Blanche Wyndham, Georgetown. The teacher for the primary department are: Mrs. Mary A. Simpson, Blaney; Miss Wilie May Andrea, Greer; Miss Myra Pettigrew, Abbeville.
