Ballentine, Sept. 9 – Miss Vera Bouknight has returned from Pomaria, where she visited Miss Nina Livingston.

Frank Wessinger left last week for Chicago, Ill.

Charles Bickley of Jacksonville, Fla., is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Bickely.

Miss Lula Shealy has gone to Lexington, N. C., where she will teach this year.

Miss Blair Griffin and little son, Blair, Jr., of Anderson visited friends here Monday and Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Ballentine and daughter, Ruby Ballentine, of Blythewood spent last Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Ballentine.

Mrs. P. B. Hendrix of Columbia is spending a while with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Shealy.

Miss Ola Shealy and Vonray Keith are spending the week-end with Miss Ruth Mayer in Newberry.

Miss Mildred Wessinger left Saturday for Rocky Mount, N. C., where she will teach.

Miss Eulaine Shealy spent last weekend with friends in Blaney.
