Prosperity, S. C. June 6. – Mrs. C. T. Wyche was hostess to the Literary Sorosis Friday afternoon when a short program on song writers of the South was enjoyed. During the social hour block, cream and pound cake was served, the hostess being assisted by Misses Evelyn Jones and Rebecca Crawford.
Miss Evelyn Jones, Ruth Stockman and Clara Brown entertained Saturday evening at the home of Dr. and Mrs. C. T. Wyche in honor of the tenth and 11 grades of the Prosperity high school. Punch was served throughout the evening at a late hour an ice course was served.
The Winthrop students who reached the home Wednesday are: Misses Eloise Bozer and Rosa Bozer, Grace Wheeler, Elizabeth Browne, Rebecca Harmon, Lucile Mills and Salome Dominick.
Mrs. L. A. Black is in Fairfax visiting her sister, Mrs. D. E. Groseclose.
