Blaney, May 10 – Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Rose of Blaney announce the birth of a son, Gilliard, Jr. on May 8.

Miss Pearle Keely of Columbia is visiting relatives in Blaney.

Mrs. C. M. Floherty and Mrs. Lonnie Floherty have returned to their home in Hamlet, N. C., after spending the week-end with parents in Blaney.

Mrs. Holliday of Glenn Springs is visiting her daughter, Mrs. J. G. Rose of Blaney.

George Onslaw has returned to his home in Darlington after spending a week in Blaney.

An ice cream supper will be given at the Blaney graded school on Friday Night, for the benefit of the Blaney Baptist church. The public is invited.
