Ridgeway, April 18. – Mrs. Herbert Ruff and Mrs. D. D. Gaillard, of Washington, D. C., have returned after spending ten days in Charleston.

Mrs. Hogan Crumpton, Mrs. Rufus Jones, Miss Anna Baxter and Rosser Baxter, motored to Charlotte Saturday and spent the weekend with relatives.

James Wilson of Charlotte is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Wilson.

Mrs. Sara Starnes and family attended the Poovey-Bowen wedding at Blaney Last Wednesday. Little Miss Marion Starnes acted as flower girl.

Mr. and Mrs. Peyre Edmunds, of Columbia, visited relatives here the past week.

Miss Sara Kennedy of the faculty of Chicora College, spent the weekend with her parents and took part in the Easter musical program at the Baptist church Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Thomas are in Charleston with their son, Charles, who is ill at Porter Military Academy.

Mrs. Annie Rosborough is at home again after spending some time in Winnsboro.

Miss Jessie Tidwell has returned from a visit to relatives in Columbia.

Mrs. W. G. Whitlock, Miss Maude Turbeville and Mrs. Sara Starnes spent Saturday in Winnsboro.

Rev. and Mrs. Cobb and baby of Columbia spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Tidwell.

Roy Williams of Wagener spent Sunday here with friends.
