Harmon H. Boughman

Harmon H. Boughman, aged 69, a Confederate veteran, died at his home seven mile from this place last Wednesday, May 19, 1915.

The late Mr. Boughman has been living in this section since September, 1913, when he moved from Columbia, where he had worked at the State Hospital for the Insane for 24 years. He was well thought of by his neighbors, and he was considered a Christian man. He was a valiant soldier of the Confederacy.

The late Mr. Boughman was survived by his widow and ten children, five sons, H. N. Boughman, L. H. Boughman, Herman Boughman, Hubert Boughman, and Fred Boughman, and five daughters, Mrs. Annie Atkinson, of Camden, Mrs. Carrie Quick of Columbia, Mrs. Mary Goble, of Lexington, Miss Jessie Boughman and Miss Nellie Boughman of Blaney.

The funeral services were held at the family cemetery Friday afternoon, May 21, 1915.
