War On Hookworm

Campaign Will be Carried on in Kershaw County.

Camden, June 8. – The South Carolina board of health and Kershaw County Medical Society have arrange for examination and treatment of hookworm in Kershaw County.

A physician of the State board of health will canvas the county until July 4, with the following schedule; Every Tuesday, 11 to 5 o’clock, Kights of Pythias hall, Blaney; every Wednesday, 9 to 2 o’clock, council chamber, Kershaw; every Thursday, town hall, Bethune; every Friday, Pine Grove schoolhouse, near Rabons Cross Roads; every Saturday, courthouse, Camden.

The hookworm examination and treatment has been going on in all parts of the state for several years and the medical association decided several months ago to arrange to have the treatment rendered the people of this county.
