Miss Hodges and Miss Holt, of Camden, are visiting in Columbia.

Mrs. J. W. Allen of Spartanburg was in Columbia yesterday, staying at the Jefferson.

Mrs. J. E. Rushton of Springfield is visiting her sister, Mrs. Minnie C. O’Connor, on Marion street.

Mrs. O. W. Babb is visiting friends and relatives at Laurens and Greenville.

Luther Bagnal of Durham, N. C., spent last Sunday with his mother, Mrs. I. I. Bagnal, on Senate street.

Mr. and Mrs. David B. McClure came over from Chester yesterday for a few days’ visit to the capital.

Mrs. R. B. Grinnan left Monday for New York, where she will spend several months.

Mrs. C. O. Allen is a Columbia visitor from Greenville.

Mrs. Herbert Hatchel has returned after a visit to her parents at Blaney.

Mrs. J. M Parker and little daughter, Elizabeth, have returned home, after a month’s stay with relatives in Florida.

Mrs. A. A. Phillips has returned, after a visit to relatives and friends in Georgia.

Mrs. Robert Brockington of Rockton is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Isbell on Laurel street.

Miss Cornelia Thomas has returned from a visit to Rock Hill. While there she was a visitor at Winthrop college.

Mrs. J. C. Campbell spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Thomas on Oak Street.

Mrs. John Drake and son came over from Bennettsville yesterday and are staying at the Jefferson.

Miss Armida Moses of Sumter is visiting in Columbia.

Miss Sara Alice Rich returned last evening from Sumter, where she went to instruct a class in dancing.

Mrs. McDavid Horton returned this afternoon from a visit to relatives in Charleston.
