Sad Death of Bride.

Mrs. Lula Martin, Youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Martin of Blaney and wife of Mr. Jesse A Martin of 1826 Taylor Street, this city, died Sunday morning, December 29, 1907 at the home of her husband after a brief illness. She was married only six weeks before her death, which makes it all the more sad.

The interment took place Monday, December 30, 1907 at Salem Methodist church and the funeral service were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Mr. Barnes. There was a large gathering of friends and relatives to pay their tribute of respect and the occasion was one of unusual sadness.
