The deceased had been engaged in business away from Camden for a number of years, but about a year had to return to Camden on account of his bad health. He leaves two brothers and two sisters, besides a number of other relatives, to mourn his loss.
The remain of Mr. James M Davis were interred at Camden, Kershaw, South Carolina, USA in Quaker Cemetery, this afternoon, August 13, 1900. The funeral services were held in Grace Episcopal Church. The deceased was a grandson of the late Bishop Davis of Camden.
